The title of this blog is taken from the final chapter of one of my favorite series, The Chronicles of Narnia. The land of Narnia is no more. As the characters climb higher into the world inside the stable, they discover what they knew as Narnia was just a shadow of the real Narnia. In saying goodbye to the shadow, they were able to know the real thing.
C. S. Lewis, the author of The Chronicles of Narnia, uses word pictures to teach that sometimes what we see as the end is not an end at all. The end is often the beginning of something better than we could have dreamed.
